We would like to express our appreciation for Italian Dreams for the wonderful service they provided for us. With only about 3 months notice they pulled out all the stops and planned a fairy tale wedding in September 2002 that we could only have dreamed of.

We contacted many internet based wedding agents and from the very start Italian Dreams stood above the rest for confidence, competence and genuine interest in us. From the outset they catered to our wishes, going out of their way to find just what we wanted. They worked with us tirelessly to choose a harbour castle by Lake Garda in the small town of Torri del Benaco. It was perfect, and to add to the excitement we were the first English couple to be married there!

The perfect day started with Nicola arriving at the castle by boat to applauding on-lookers. The romantic Italian civil service was held within the castle itself. Afterward, we felt like film stars as the photographer & videographer took us into the castle ramparts & grounds. To add to the magic we and our small wedding party were taken for a boat tour of the Lake. We returned for our exquisite ‘lake menu’ reception meal across the harbour from the castle, on a balcony overlooking the lake. It was an amazing occasion and the videographer created the most wonderful video that we cherish. We cannot recommend Italian Dreams enough. We got the film star treatment at an extremely reasonable fee.

Many people would ask us, Why Italy? Why are you going there to get married? This is why…One night when we were having dinner at one of our favorite Italian restaurants, we were discussing marriage and before you knew it we both looked at each other as the mandolin played in the background and we knew that Italy was the place that we wanted to celebrate our wedding. This was a way that we could combine a beautiful wedding and also a magnificent trip for us and for some of our family and friends.

Now that we had this brilliant idea, we now had to ask ourselves how are we going to do this. One night I stopped at a bookstore and looked for some information on Weddings in Italy. I found a book and read it. At the back of the book there was a note about “Sogni Italiani” and a phone number. I contacted Chandi Wyant and from that day forward Shawn and I were so blessed and taken care of. It went from an idea to reality. Chandi, you helped make our dreams come true. You were there to answer every question and concern we had. You worked in such a timely manner and it seemed as if we were your only clients, but we knew we were not. Your dedication to us and to all of our wishes revealed the love you have for Italy and how much you want to enrich the lives of others with such a beautiful culture. Our wedding was like a fairy tale and it is a moment that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

We have never been happier in our lives and thanks to you; Shawn and I are not only married, but we celebrated our love in the most beautiful country and had a wedding like no other; you made it special and very unique. You are a wonderful person and have an extraordinary wedding planning organization and we will never forget all that you did for us and we will hold you and Italy in our hearts forever. The whole week went off without a hitch. Without you there is no way we could have pulled this together. Over the holidays, the entire family was together for Christmas and we were finally able to reflect back on the entire event. I looked at a dozen Italian Wedding planners on the web once I figured out that it would have been impossible for me to handle the paperwork alone, and I’m so glad that I chose Sogni Italiani! I would do it again in a second! You made an overwhelming pile of red tape very simple and easy. Believe me, you earn your fee in this task alone. I kept thinking, “This would have been impossible to do on my own!” Then you arranged the hotel, flowers, photographer, carriage ride, wedding lunch, and set up that really special tour of Villa Maiano for us. I’m picky and frugal, and you arranged everything to perfection and for an incredibly reasonable price!

I’m a very tough critic, and you are one of the few people I’ve worked with who didn’t fall short of expectation in any area. I appreciated your prompt and comprehensive replies to every question, your honesty and candor, and going beyond the call of duty in every aspect of the planning. The hotel staff was superb, and the wedding lunch that you arranged with them for us on the terrazzo was sublime down to the dessert, which was made by the hotel manager’s 90-year-old mother in law. It was HEAVEN. The hotel was the best part of the trip! Angelo is an Angel. I could write 3 pages about how much I love him, the room we had, the entire hotel and the staff. We will never stay anywhere else in Florence. I love Florence! All Parisians should be sent there to learn hospitality! I still love France, but the people of Florence are the best.
